Electronic Arts announced during their press conference at E3 that a new Star Wars: Battlefront game is on the horizon.

The new Battlefront game will be developed by DICE, the developers behind the Battlefield franchise of FPS. The game will utilize the Frostbite 3 graphics engine and DICE has also taken advantage of the Lucas Films archives to look over practical models used during the making of the original star wars trilogy as well as traveling the locations were many of the iconic scenes from the original trilogy were shot, in order to give their Star Wars: Battlefront an authentic feel to it.

The teaser trailer reveals no release date, but “Spring 2015” is at the end of the video. This doesn’t look like a release date but a date for when more substantive information will be announced.

The original trilogy is back in action! Are you excited? Sound off in the comments below!
