This is another story where the phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words” is apt.

On Monday British film magazine Empire revealed 25 covers featuring images from Bryan Singer’s upcoming “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

These covers include a first look at the Sentinels, Quicksilver, Colossus, Bolivar Trask and many more. You can take a look at all 25 of the covers here. For any collectors out there you will be able to purchase them through that link.

The one that seemed to cause the most buzz was the one featuring Anna Paquin as Rogue. Last month it was announced that she was cut from the final edit of the film. Scriptwriter Simon Kinberg said that while her “one real sequence in the movie” was cut, “it does not mean that we won’t see her in the film.”

“X-Men: Days of Future Past” is set for release on May 23. The story involves characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy teaming up with characters from “X-Men: First Class” to save the world. Bryan Singer is directing from a script by Simon Kinberg.  Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Peter Dinklage and many others star in the film.

Are you looking forward to the movie? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
