Suicide Squad Cast List has been Released

 

More news about Warner Brothers’s plans for the new series of movies based on DC comics characters. The cast list for a movie based on the Suicide Squad was release.

The Suicide Squad are a group of noted villains who do dangerous missions for the United States government for reduced jail sentences.

The proposed line-up includes

– Jared Leto (American Psycho, Dallas Buyers Club) as the crown prince of crime himself the Joker.

– Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street) as Harley Quinn, the Joker’s very joyful and very deadly girlfriend.

– Will Smith (Wild Wild West, After Earth) as Deadshot, a skill and boastful assassin with glorious thoughts on dying.

– Tom Hardy (Lawless, Mad Max: Fury Road) as Rick Flag, the son of a famous military officer and commander of the Squad.

– Jai Courtney (I, Frankenstein, A Good Day to Died Hard) as Boomerang, the mean-spirited comic relief of the team.

– Cara Delevingne (The Face of an Angel, Kids in Love) as Enchantress, A once normal human who would later gain powerful and at times uncontrollable magical powers.

“We look forward to seeing this terrific ensemble, under David Ayer’s amazing guidance, give new meaning to what it means to be a villain and what it means to be a hero.”

A hand full of names are floating around on who will play Amanda Waller, the team’s leader and seen by many as DC’s answer to SHIELD leader Nick Fury. The current number one choice is media mogul Oprah Winfrey.

No word yet on the exact story for the film. Production is set for April of next year and the release date is currently August 5 2016.
