Special Event Pokémon! -Only Available Until July 31st!

pokemon special vivillon part 2 title

HOORAY! It’s another freebie Pokémon event! Because people all over the world have traded over 100 MILLION Pokémon through the global network, a special event exclusive Pokémon has been gifted to us all: FANCY PATTERN VIVILLON! This Vivillon is available to players of the Pokémon X & Y games for free download from July 8th – July 31st. (Apologies for the late notice, but I just started with the newsing here, and better late than not posting at all, right?) So anywho, getting this lovely tramp stamp Pokémon is easy:

On the main screen after the game intro, instead of selecting your profile to start the game, select “Mystery Gift” (click “Yes” when asked to connect to the internet, & the communication channel). You want to select “Receive Gift” & “Get Via Internet”. It’ll take a wee bit searching, confirm to receive, then PRESTO!

Once you’re in game, you need to go see the gifty chick dressed in blue at a Pokémon Center. She’ll be standing next to Nurse Joy. Make sure you have a free slot in your party when you speak with her, otherwise she just holds your gift hostage until you do.

Aaaand CONGRATULATIONS! You just received fancy pants Vivillon! “DA DA DA! da-da-da-da-da-da DAAAAA!” -Who you probably won’t use much anyway. But Oooo purdy! Kinda reminds me of a disco floor. He/she will be level 12, but from what I gather around word on the street… (web)… the stats and nature do differ. Sooo, if you super care about all that, I suppose you could do the whole shut off/restart at the Pokémon Center thing, and just don’t save until you’re satisfied. From the tone there, you can probably discern that I did not do that… Here’s mine though, feel free to gloat in the comments or whatever on how many times you reloaded and ended up with a better one.  ;P  If you could rename event Pokémon, I would name her “Fancy Pants”… or “Disco Ho”. But ya can’t…  LAME.

I hope you enjoyed visiting The V Spot! ;) There will be more to come… eventually. When you ask? Well, whenever I care enough about something to report on it! Could be videos, could be articles, it’s whatever my imagination wants it to be! (Well, I guess my imagination only has audio left of media to choose from). Just gonna put it out there & let you know right now, the majority of stuff here is most likely going to be Nintendo based. Deal with it.

And again, sorry for the late notice on this announcement. Didn’t know I’d be geekin’ up this place with some gaming news. But ya still got a few days! Now go get your fancy pants Vivillon! Cause, you know… You gotta catch ’em all!

I got myself one of those happy Vivillon! =D I don’t use it, but I got it. =)

If you find a way to do so, do you think you’ll record yourself in wi-fi battles? =)

I’ve actually never done a wi-fi battle. I’ve only done ONE battle, which was in person at Anime Midwest. Viga popped my battle cherry. ;) I haven’t finished the game yet, due to catching and leveling all the Pokémon I want, as I can’t decide who I want my “core team” to be. Probably my instilled nature of diverting into side quests on the Zelda games. In no hurry. Also, I’m SO not into all the buffing out EV training and all that crap. I don’t even use the stat boosters… probably due to the fact that I don’t battle, so all that never comes up for a need during regular game play.

Thank you so much! Been wanting to do videos for a while, however my Blasty McDouchebag neighbors make it VERY difficult to get clean takes. As it is, if I shoot anything for crossovers, I have to do it at insane times of like 1am or so. Nothing more I can do about the issue left, I’ll just have to wait until I can afford to move. Thus, I cannot say when for certain, but the intention has been there for quite some time. :)
