Marilyn Manson Having Tour Problems In Russia

After a bomb threat, shock rocker Marilyn Manson had to cancel his set at the Park Live Festival in Moscow.  After  it was shut down, Russian police started to investigate to see if there was any danger, no word yet on what they found. Manson broadcast the news on twitter, pictured left:

A show that was scheduled for June 29th in Novosibirsk Russia was also canceled after citizens had protested the performance. Many people claiming that  that his show would insult the Orthodox church and will promote sadomasochism.

“Sadomasochism is a mental disorder. What does Novosibirsk need this show for?”

Yury Zadoya, one of the protesters had this to say on Manson:

“Manson’s live performances look like an amusement park with a sadomasochistic slant,”

Manson has always pushed people’s buttons, with many individuals believing that his music does more damage than good and have tried to stop him performing and releasing new material. After the Columbine Shooting in 1999, a number of people believed that the killers were fans of his and connected him to the shooting. While these two shows were canceled, he will continue his summer European tour.

What do you guys think of this? What you say to the people of Novosibirsk? Let us know in the comments.
