Russo Brothers to Direct Next Avengers Movies

It’s been reported that Joss Whedon will not be directing the cinematic two parter Avengers: Infinity War, it will be instead helmed by the Russo Brothers,  Anthony & Joseph V.

The brothers are best known for their recent work on Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Before that, they were best known for directing comedies like You, Me and Dupree and Welcome to Collin-wood. They also directed episodes of Arrested Development, Community, and Happy Endings.

Currently they are in preproduction of Captain America: Civil War, another marvel universe film and the third Captain America film (second under their direction).

Joss Whedon’s Avengers: The Age of Ultron is to be released May 1 2015 and no word has been released of any new project from the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

No writers have been announced yet, but many believe that Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are the most likely choices due to their work on the three Captain America films.

I liked Captain American: The Winter Soldier and just about all the films in the current Marvel Universe. I am ready for Age of Ultron, Ant-man, and rest of the promised movies. Hoping not to be disappointed.
