To be honest I’m pretty zen on the comic book movies. Marvel Studios knows what it’s doing by this point, and if the market does implode, I think they’ll be the ones left standing since they have a solid track record. It’s other studios like Sony, Fox and especially WB that I’m worried about when it comes to market stability. They’re proven trend-jumpers who clearly have serious management problems. DC Comics is already on the way towards total irrelevancy in the comic book market; if the movies don’t wow audiences, they’re going to have a crisis in infinite board rooms.

I’m alright with comic book movies right now and I’m not feeling burned out. Though, I’m frankly a bit more interested in seeing how Hollywood adapts some Image’s current selection at this point.

Is there even a plan right now to adapt Image content?

Besides Mark Millar’s stuff, I know Jeff Lemire’s Descender is apparently getting a push. Sony wants to make it happen and a screenwriter has been tapped already. I’ve heard Scott Snyder’s Wytches comic has been optioned as well. There is interest in some of Image’s stuff, but if and when they come out, I have no idea.
