In Death Wish 2 Paul Kersey’s daughter wasn’t murdered she comitted suicide.
In Death Wish 1 Kersey didn’t kill Jeff Goldblum’s character(who’s only in Death Wish1), he never gets revenge on him or his crew for the rape of his Wife(was also murdered) and daughter(was left catatonic) because there were no witnesses to identify them.

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen any of the Death Wish movies. Thank you for the corrections.

To be fair I was also correcting Josh. I think he got Death Wish 1 mixed up with St. Ives, both have Charles Bronson and Jeff Goldblum.

This was a really entertaining episode, especially those feisty little back-and-forths.

I could be wrong but I don’t think you guys mentioned Death Sentence (2007) with Kevin Bacon. One of the few modern revenge movies I’ve seen that is actually really awesome and with some fantastic stunt set pieces. I highly recommend it.

I’ve not seen “Death Sentance.” I’ll have to check it out sometime.

You’ve got to man. It has its faults, a terrible cop character in particular, but the sheer spectacle of Kevin Bacon going from mild mannered family man to shaven-headed, leather jacketed, shotgun wielding killer is well worth it. It’s pretty brutal too. Not sure why it’s so under appreciated.

The Spike Lee Oldboy keeps the father/daughter incest reveal. The only thing about the twist that’s changed is how the main character reacts.

I hate to be that guy, but Jowski got some details about I Saw The Devil pretty wrong. The guy wasn’t a cop, he was a government agent. And it wasn’t his daughter that got killed. It was his fiance.
